Elise Sargent is a consultant focused on career coaching and leadership development.

As part of the GIEL program, Elise coaches graduate engineering students developing leadership skills including effective communication, influence, developing vision, and accountability.

She provides career coaching to individuals at all stages in their career to identify the next career steps based on a diverse set of career goals. Coaching focuses on developing clarity around strengths, interests and the value one brings to an organization.

Elise brings a combination of empathy and direct feedback to her coaching that enables individuals to develop new perspectives and reframe a course of action.  She is passionate about helping individuals achieve concrete goals with visible results.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Elise brings over 20 years of experience as an Engineering Executive.  She led global engineering teams delivering a broad range of software solutions across a diversity of industries.  She brings experience transforming engineering teams to deliver high quality, high performing solutions to meet the demands of the business.

Elise holds an M.S.in Computer and Information Systems in Engineering Management from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude) from Michigan State University.
